Anne Hathaway admits to being a big-time stoner in US TV interview

Hathaway's "WWHL" co-guest Sheryl Crow also shared her favorite memory from working with Prince, who died one year ago Friday. The game is simple, Cohen asks her three questions, she has to answer two of them, and one she can plead the fifth.

Seriously, between Anne Hathaway and James Franco, would YOU have guessed the stoner??

Hathaway laughed and replied, "None of them".

During an appearance on Thursday's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Hathaway dished on her smoking habits in honor of 4/20 during a game of "Plead the Fifth". "She asked me to express her love and admiration for Anne and her work".

"I've never apologised to her about it", she said. When Anne Hathaway was asked by Cohen who she had most wanted to beat out to win an Oscar, she answered, "None of them". "Here's the thing, though - I'm a parent and I don't feel like getting arrested, so I'm gonna say zero". The other actresses vying for the award were "Helen Hunt, Amy Adams, Sally Field and Jacki Weaver".

Hathaway even admitted that in the past, when she received a script or saw a film directed by a woman, she focused on what was wrong with it as opposed to when she saw a film helmed by a man when she would focus on what's right with it.

Hathaway said she would call Scherfig after the interview to apologise.

But the actress added that she knows how hard it is for women to get "the reins to anything".

Her speech began with the words, "It came true!" "I would like you to abandon all of that and get brutally honest, because it is time for you to get brutally honest and play Plead the Fifth!". I really do. Her life is one extended mic drop.
