Trump says he'll mark 100 days with Pennsylvania rally

In a separate tweet he said he'll be announcing tax reforms this week, though the topic of the Saturday rally was not specified. "Look forward to it!" tweeted Mr. Trump.

President Donald Trump will mark his 100th day in office with a rally in Pennsylvania, the president announced on Twitter.

The April 29 rally will be held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center. While the annual goings on at the Washington Hilton seemed to be tailor-made for the nation's first reality TV star president, the Trump administration's confrontational relationship with the press had many outlets reconsidering their participation.

It is scheduled for the same night as this year's White House Correspondents' Dinner, which Trump previously said he would break from tradition and not attend. There was also the question of how the volatile president might respond to be being roasted in front of the world.

The rally will be held on the same night as the White House Correspondents Dinner, which the president said he would be skipping.

Trump also appeared to suggest that, given his lack of previous political experience, his agenda's progress - or lack thereof - shouldn't be measured against the number of days he's been in office.
