Photos posted on Twitter by tech blogger Eldar Murtazin reveal the frontside and backside of what looks to be a Galaxy S8. The company also offered a free wireless charging case for those who pre-order the phone. Both the handsets boast a unusual display aspect ratio of 18:9. India gets the dual SIM version of both these models.
Gadgets 360 has exclusively learned that Samsung Galaxy S8 price in India will be Rs. 62,600; this is the MRP (Maximum Retail Price), while the market operating price (MOP) is Rs. 57,900. Now with these prices, they are definitely not the cheapest costing phone on the market, however, they are certainly worth the price which you are paying, with all those top notch specs and premium build quality. The smartphone is expected to be available on both online and offline retailers. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will feature a 6.2-inch Quad HD+Super AMOLED display. The phone has an Iris scanner along with a Pressure sensor, Accelerometer, Barometer, Fingerprint sensor, Gyro sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Hall sensor, HR sensor, Proximity sensor and RGB Light sensor.
Galaxy S8 builds on the Samsung's heritage of creating stunning designs and functional devices. There is also 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card upto 256GB. Samsung has so much faith in the AI that it added a dedicated button on the left side of the handset to active it. Powering the S8 is a 3000mAh battery, whereas the S8 Plus is a slightly larger 3500mAh battery. Similar to the setup on the iPhone 7 Plus, one of the sensors on the Galaxy Note 8 will be coupled with a telephoto lens, allowing it deliver 3x optical zoom.
Connectivity options include a USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.0, Global Positioning System and NFC.
