Jurgen Klopp won't be bringing Joe Hart to Liverpool

"You ask about goalkeepers but you don't say the name".

"He [Hart] is a fantastic goalkeeper - the goalkeeper of the England national team - so he is of the highest quality".

"Danny Ward is at Huddersfield and playing a brilliant season".

The 20-year-old has made only one senior appearance for Liverpool however, coming off the bench on the 65th minute in a FA Cup third-round replay win over Plymouth Argyle back in January.

Klopp: "I like being here but I don't want to bother people with my presence if we're not successful".

When asked if Klopp was regretting letting him leave, Francis said on Sky Sports: "Maybe".

The England worldwide is on loan at Italian top flight side Torino this season after becoming surplus to requirements after Pep Guardiola took charge at Man City.

"If you're not going to win there is no point in fighting, especially someone as powerful as that", Hart said.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is well aware of the threat Christian Benteke poses but has warned his players they can not concentrate their focus on the big man.

The German also admitted Reds captain Jordan Henderson is still struggling to return from the foot problem which has sidelined him since early February. "We know the best way to play against them but still we must reveal it". He cannot really train so we have to wait for when he can.

Liverpool face Crystal Palace on Sunday, and ahead of the game, it looks like the Reds are in the midst of a growing injury crisis.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday broadcast on Facebook Live, Klopp explained: "There are a few little things from last game which doesn't make it easier".

"There is a bit of a muscle problem with Joel Matip and Lucas Leiva, still a problem with Ragnar Klavan - it was a really small problem with a ligament but there still may not be enough time before Crystal Palace, so it will be interesting".

"When the ball is in the air Christian is an important danger and he's another player with confidence on a great jog. He is already not patient".

Palace, who are 15th, have won five of their last seven games to move seven points clear of the relegation zone with six games to play. "He looks really healthy but nothing has changed".

As per the report, Joe Gomez could be given a start in the heart of the Liverpool defence, as Ragnar Klavan remains a doubt despite also stepping up his recovery from injury this week.
