Gary and Lisa Try Starbucks' New Unicorn Frappuccino

The Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino is available from April 19-23.

"I posted it, and all my followers started saying it looked like a unicorn, so I said you're right, and I started calling it that too", Waugh told The New York Times.

A local Starbucks, where the staff seemed to be in better spirits, reported it sold 211 of the colorful drinks on the first day, causing it to run out of the sour blue flavoring.

A blue Unicorn Frappuccino is made with cotton candy powder, while the pink Unicorn is made with bubblegum flavored powder.

"It's so hard to make!" he said.

In search of answers, I purchased two Unicorn Frappuccinos on Wednesday morning - one made with whole milk and one made with almond milk.

The Unicorn Frappuccino is a sweet and sour pink and blue cream swirl topped with what Starbucks calls "fairy powder".

Just when we thought that Starbucks couldn't get any more magical, they jumped on the unicorn craze by introducing the all-new Unicorn Frappuccino. Starbucks is serving its "Unicorn Frappuccinos" - a color-shifting, taste-changing drink for just five days and, apparently, baristas can't make them fast enough. All you have to do is let your barista know that you're vegan and would like it dairy-free and you're all set to enjoy the goodness just like everyone else. When stirred it changes from pink to purple and the taste changes from sweet and fruity to tangy and tart. Burson suddenly yells. "I have unicorn crap all in my hair and in my nose!"

"I feel like I'd have to walk a little more if I found out", said David.

'It's a great drink.

Baristas at Tacoma's newest Starbucks in the Stadium District said the drink has been popular but hasn't been hard to make.

"I kept waiting for the bitter coffee taste that I hate so much", he said, giving the drink 3.5 stars.
