Fans Celebrate the Life and Work of Prince

It's hard to believe that a year has already passed since the death of music legend Prince. From energy-fueled live performances to panel discussions and special presentations, Celebration 2017 will highlight the influence of "The Purple One".

The soundtrack won an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score and formed the backbone of Prince's legendary studio album of the same name.

The music legend died at his Paisley Park estate on April 21st previous year from an accidental overdose of pain killers. Wright said she would schedule a hearing later on a preliminary injunction. "The fact that I got to go and hang out with him a couple months before his passing - that is one of the most standout memories for me". "Countless bottles of opioid painkillers were found on the Paisley Park estate, while many other medications were discovered in vitamin pill bottles and unmarked envelopes", CNN reported, adding that "some [were] prescribed to Prince's former drummer and longtime friend Kirk Johnson". I just felt like he knew.

People from states away are flocking to Minneapolis/St. Paul to spend the weekend remembering one of their favorite musicians.

"Prince is the person that helped me decide that is was OK to be me, because that's who he was".

The disconnect between Prince's reputation for healthy living and his surprising early death has exacerbated the sense of loss among some of his fans. The Revolution played with Prince, the fans filled the seats and they all sang as one in honor of the extraordinary talent that brought them together in the first place.

Amidst the news of The Revolution, Prince's scheduled new music has been blocked from release.

Friday has been declared "Prince Day" in Minnesota. "I never thought I'd be like that for a celebrity".

Cymone, Prince and Day continued making attractive music together, and Day says that Prince was responsible for formulating the Minneapolis sound.

"While he talked a lot about mortality and death and being at peace with it, it always seemed more for us, as the audience, than for him", she said.

"Now I am here for a third time to get my boogie on and enjoy the Prince celebration", she said.

"I want to hear all of my favorite songs and party with everyone", she said.
