While Samsung has yet to ship its latest flagship smartphone line, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, all over the world, those who already got hold of the early units in South Korea already found a problem with it upon release. However, it looks like just ahead of the launch, some extra information pertaining to the much awaited Samsung flagships are out, and have been reported by Gadgets360. And now talking about the prices, the Galaxy S8 in India is priced at 57,900 INR and the larger variant the Galaxy S8+ is priced at 64,900 INR.
Cons: Samsung's decision to place the fingerprint sensor right next to the rear camera can make it hard to find the sesnor by feel. But rather than coming as Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, the device is reported to move forward as Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
The Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8 inch QHD display; while the Galaxy S8+ comes with a 6.2 inch QHD display.
From that time onwards, there was no shortage of leaks, hints, rumors, teasers and predictions for the specs and features of Samsung Galaxy S8.
However, the red tint issue comes at a very bad time for Samsung especially after Galaxy Note 7's battery issue past year.
Samsung Galaxy S8 will be released in the USA for $720 starting Friday, April 21, while those in the United Kingdom can purchase the device for £689.
As for hardware, both the handsets feature Samsung's in-house Exynos 8895 SoC's in India as opposed to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC on some worldwide versions. Both phones have the IRIS scanner. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus feature a 12-megapixel shooter at the back with f/1.7 aperture, Optical Image Stabilisation and LED flash, as well as an 8-megapixel AF selfie shooter at the front with an f/1.7 aperture.
Both smartphones feature 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera with F1.7 lens and are powered by the industry first 10nm processor. The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ both are running on Android 7.0 Nougat based Samsung Experience software.
