Biloxi church holds annual Easter egg hunt

The 5th annual Children's Charity of Greater Binghamton Easter Egg Hunt takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon.
Over in Madison, there will be a kite festival and an egg hunt in Dublin Park starting Saturday at 10 a.m. Students from the leadership group R.U.F.F will be on hand to help the little ones with their kites.

Brightly colored eggs and candy. There will be two grand prizes in each category.
The event was held for townschildren - preschoolers through first-graders - at the school playground in coordination with Institute for Savings and the YMCA.
The Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County donated six stuffed animals to be given away as prizes as well.

This was Tebbetts' first time keeping an eye out for Brayden, who seemed like a seasoned pro at grabbing as numerous candy-filled, multi-colored plastic Easter eggs he could carry. Mathis says 12,000 eggs will be hidden this year.
Gabie, speaking to the Ottawa Citizen, said that almost 3,000 children registered for the event though the final numbers weren't yet known.
"We were really happy with it", deOliveira said.
Austin Landing is putting on a "Hop Into Spring Egg Hunt" Saturday afternoon.
"We all just made a decision to let them have their time in and let them get their turn because a lot of kids have needs that we can't sometimes go up to", said Gonzalez. "As the 70th, it's a good marker of a tradition for a small city".
Joe Filoteo, director of EdinburgParks and Recreation, began the event at the department located on Palm Drive in Edinburg with only 200-300 "hunters" attending the free event. Throughout the year, there are several efforts led or supported by the club.
The event was in the open field adjacent to the Destiny World Outreach Center's sanctuary on W.S. Young Drive in Killeen.
"There are a couple of other Easter egg hunts", he said.
