A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department confirms to Entertainment Tonight that Drake's home was burglarized.
Recording artist Drake, pictured here at an Apple event in San Francisco, California in 2015, was the victim of a home invasion this week, but the intruder just raided his fridge, police said. Dunn told the Huffington Post there were no signs of forced entry.
While inside the home, Collins helped herself to a Fiji bottled water, a Pepsi and a Sprite, Dunn said. As a effect, she was charged with burglary and her bail was set at $100,000 (roughly £78,072).
According to a statement from the sheriff's office, Lost Hills Station deputies responded to the residence of Drake, whose birth name is Aubrey Graham, after receiving a call about a possible burglary. She was also wearing Drake's hooded sweatshirt, police said. There was no evidence that she stole anything besides the beverages, nor did she cause any damage to the house.
The case against Collins has yet to be officially dropped, but it is unlikely the District Attorney will forge ahead with prosecution without Drake's support.
