Mariners' Haniger ends Marlins' no-hitter in 9th

Miami Marlins pitcher Wei-Yin Chen didn't give up a single hit through seven innings of work on Tuesday as the Marlins shut out the Seattle Mariners 5-0. Hernandez defeated Texas on Friday, when he allowed one run and six hits in 7 1/3 innings.

Mitch Haniger hit a one-out double off Kyle Barraclough in the ninth inning, ending the Miami Marlins' bid for a combined no-hitter against the Seattle Mariners. Long-time Mariners right fielder and current Marlin Ichiro Suzuki provided fans at Safeco with an incredible moment on Wednesday night when he hit a home run in his final at-bat. Yelich held on for the out and remained in the game.
