Christians Advised To Proclaim Resurrection Of Jesus

According to the Bible, Jesus' death was a sacrifice for the sins of others, but his resurrection represents something even more powerful: the potential for rebirth, salvation, and renewal of faith.

Today Orthodox and Catholic Christians celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.

"So in the resurrection story, though for example John may have Mary Magdalene going to the tomb, while other gospels may have several women and in John Mary Magdalene is the one who sees Jesus at the tomb, while the others meet him elsewhere, the underlying message of the gospel is that Jesus is risen and through his resurrection, we can have light and life".

"Easter is that beacon of light shining in our darkness and calling us to be the heart of mercy, the voice of hope and the hand of justice that Jesus Christ represents", the message reads as.

"Easter is a time to celebrate how God's love and presence in this world is greater than anything we can ever face or go through in life and death", said Rev. Charlie Palmer, pastor for Treasure Hills Presbyterian Church in Harlingen. Easter is the culmination of Holy Week and comes three days after Good Friday.

"Easter should give us hope and give our lives meaning", Privott said. Let this Easter be the beginning of a positive change in the nations of the world.

"In addition, we urge all Christians in Nigeria to use the Easter celebrations to reflect and pray for Nigeria's continuous unity and peaceful coexistence", Makarfi said in a statement signed by the committee's spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye.

"I think we need to do some deep soul searching about what's important in our lives and renew our spirit and our spiritual thinking, whether it's through faith-based religion or just through loving nature or helping your fellow man", says Louie Schwartzberg and Easter is the right occasion to give ourselves a new lease of life. "I will be talking about the resurrection of Christ", said Father Swarup Bar.
