Vineland family meets Kelleyanne Conway at White House Easter Egg roll

The Easter Egg Roll event - hosted by the first lady - brought 21,000 people to the White House Monday morning.

"On behalf of the president and (our son) Barron, we wish you great fun and lovely days coming ahead of us", Xinhua news agency quoted the first lady as saying.

The search for Easter eggs is one of the most emblematic traditions of the federal capital, established in 1878 by President Rutherford B. Hayes.

Last month the White House Press Secretary tweeted a picture of himself as the White House Easter bunny alongside the message "The good ole days - what I would give to hide in a bunny costume again". Her dress was ideal for the occasion, fitting to what is celebrated in the season.

But, while addressing the crowd from the Truman Balcony, Melania subtly nudged Donald, reminding him to put his hand over his heart for the National Anthem-a small moment that turned into a bigger discussion on social media.

Seeing Melania right beside her husband is nice, so, the Americans still wondering: when the first lady will make the final decision to move to the White House? It was the first time though that First Lady Melania Trump wore this appropriately the sleeveless pink fit-and-flare dress with a tight bodice and a cinched in waist - her go-to silhouette. He said that the First Lady has worked for long just to make the event a ideal one and in line with how they want to be. 'We wish you great fun, and a lovely day is coming ahead of us'. That's down from the 35,000 people who attended past year.

A total of some 18,000 Easter eggs were made available to the kids, however, by the White House.

What the Donald didn't forget, was to use the traditional Easter Egg Roll - which dates back to 1814 - to big up his Presidency.

Also on hand for the event were the president's two older sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, along with their families.
