Trump has spent nearly a third of his presidency in Florida

"The King reaffirmed strong Saudi support for the United States' military strike against the Sayrat Airfield in Syria and thanked the President for his courageous action, which both agreed was a necessary response to the terrible chemical weapons attack on innocent civilians", a statement issued by the White House said.

Trump will return to Palm Beach for Easter weekend, he told guests at his Trump International Golf Club, according to an exclusive Palm Beach Daily News report. The president golfed as part of two foursomes and ordered a salad in the club room afterward.

This is President Trump's 7th visit to Mar-a-Lago and it comes on the heels of major global turmoil and political platform changes.

Trump's visits to Mar-a-Lago have been scrutinized because of the cost and the frequency of his visits - and because the president regularly hassled predecessor Barack Obama for his travel.

Road closures around Mar-a-Lago are already underway. Trump said Syrian president Bashar Assad was behind the attack.

"You know what - and I love golf - but if I were in the White House, I don't think I'd ever see Turnberry [in Scotland] again".

"Yes. I'll be here for Easter", he said.

"I don't ever think that I'd see anything", Trump added. I just wanna stay in the White House and work my ass off, make great deals, right?

Despite tensions flaring over the airstrikes in Syria, Trump took to the golf course for the 16th time since becoming president. "Who's gonna leave? I mean, who's gonna leave?"

He brought along top staff members, including feuding aides chief strategist Steve Bannon and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who got a prime seat near Trump during a dinner with the Chinese leader.
