Thanos appears in first trailer for Telltale Games 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

The next few weeks are going to be chalk-full of Guardians of the Galaxy!

As for "Tangled Up in Blue", this launch trailer tees up an exciting new expansion in the Guardians lore, and we understand Telltale has drafted in a relatively familiar mix of voice talent to bring those characters to life. If you want to buy the entire Season Pass, which grants access to all five episodes, it's $19.99 United States dollars.

"Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series' delivers a brand new story of the universe's unlikeliest heroes, the rag-tag band of outlaws who go by the names Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot".

Novacore is in dire need of assistance and calls upon the Guardians to help, the Guardians follow Thanos to a Kree planet to recover a relic that each of them has their own reasoning to recover the captured relic.The game releases just in time for the release of the anticipated sequel the the movie which is to be released on May 5th. Even though Gamora and Drax both have a vested interest in finishing off Thanos, Star-Lord still manages to negotiate a clean record for his entire team.

The first episode of Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will launch on Tuesday, April 18 on Playstation Network and Xbox Live, as well as the App Store and Google Play.

Very little is now known about the storyline for this title, but it has been revealed that the Guardians will come across "an artifact of unspeakable power;" which is coveted throughout the entire universe. Additionally, there will be a Season Pass Disc for consoles that hits retail stores on May 2 in North America and May 5 in Europe, priced at $29.99 Dollars. A release date was not announced.
