Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins confirmed for "WWE Payback"

The Raw General Manager addresses Braun Strowman's attack on Roman Reigns and announces that The Big Dog will face The Monster Among Men at WWE Payback.

Braun Strowman and The Big Show were in a very beefy match at the conclusion of Raw tonight.

Check out the incredible footage below.

That's exactly what happened on Monday night's WWE Raw, and the results were *explosive*. Strowman is listed as 6-foot-8 and 385 pounds, so WWE did the most sensible thing with him: It had him beat up a bunch of little guys for months. No spoilers just yet, but suffice to say the follow-up was worth the wait - and WWE didn't even feel compelled to bring Reigns back to make him look strong!

#1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Match: Alexa Bliss def. Sasha Banks, Mickie James, and Nia Jax by pinning Sasha Banks following a Samoan Drop by Nia Jax to become the new #1 Contender for the RAW Women's Title.

"We did a spot right before we broke the ring where we're both down and they shoot a real close-up of both of us selling", Big Show told Jericho. Furthermore, he barred Strowman from competing on Raw.

With neither men going out without giving their all and effectively a win, barrage of slams, suplexes and chops followed before Strowman delivered the decisive blow. Oh yeah, and the match leading up to that ending completely ruled, as well.

Well, WWE fans are sick and exhausted of the PG Era at the moment, to be honest.

This is not the first time the ring has collapsed, and not the first time The Big Show has been involved in the damage.

A truly splendid match, both superstars shook hands after the bout was over, as Payback will see the two teams go for gold now that they've had a taste of what to expect from their opposition. Unfortunately, instead of letting Strowman just be big and scary, decision-makers forced him to cut a generic scripted promo.
