Radiohead's Sound Cuts Out Twice At Coachella

During their headlining set at Coachella on Friday night, Radiohead was silenced by sound problems just three songs in, eventually walking off stage. again and again.

The Coachella festival open its gates April 14 for the first of two weekends of music, camping, art and fashion, offering plenty of can't-miss moments for festivals-goers and giving those staying at home a chance to follow along.

Doomed by disaster after disaster, frontman Thom Yorke jokingly blamed it on "the f**king aliens again!"

As you can see from the above image, their set was interrupted though by a few technical problems that actually caused the sound to completely dropout at one point. And the sound fortunately pulled through for Greenwood's thundering jolts of guitar on "Creep".

The promoters of Coachella have been trying to book Kate Bush for 25 years, the man responsible for choosing the U.S. festival's line-up has claimed. This event features artists from various genres from indie to hip hop, as well as installations and sculptures.

Radiohead closed out night No. 1 of Coachella on Friday, but unfortunately, it was a major "Let Down". Webcasts streamed the show around the globe, and Coachella's organizers have offered up the streaming schedules for the rest of the Easter weekend schedule for Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16. Radiohead had to exit the stage twice during their set.

If you've ever wondered how the Do Lab came to be such a huge part of the Coachella experience, wonder no more.

"After months of administrative procedure, one of us still doesn't have the authorisation to enter the United States for reasons you can imagine", PNL wrote on Facebook.

It was announced in late February that Mother Monster would be replacing Beyoncé as the festival headliner after the "Formation" singer had to drop out due to her pregnancy.
