Lady Gaga's Coachella Performance Was Fire

Titled "The Cure", the almost dancehall-sounding track provided a flawless nearly halfway point in the show and likely made fans want more where it came from - which is apparently lots of recent time in the studio, as she explained to the crowd.

INDIO, CA - APRIL 15: Lady Gaga performs on the Coachella Stage during day 2 of the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival (Weekend 1) at the Empire Polo Club on April 15, 2017 in Indio, California.

She is set to embark on a world tour in support of the album later this year.

Early on in her 20-song set, it seemed that Gaga may address the (sort of) elephant in the room that Beyonce was the one to previously that spot prior to her surprise pregnancy announcement. She also performed Telephone, her 2009 collaboration with the insane in Love hitmaker, and reportedly fell silent during Beyonce's parts on the song.

She added: "I love you guys so much". "No way man, because that means I'm playing for the heavyweights at Coachella".

There were no special guests during Gaga's set, but she did surprise her fans by performing a brand new track called The Cure, an upbeat dancehall style song, Billboard reports.

The singer's custom Balenciaga denim jacket is sure to be in demand, especially after she paired it with such an incredible pair of boots.

But these reactions have been in the minority, as many fans have embraced Gaga's return to pop after the country-inspired sound on her recent album Joanne. I have been through so much in my life and I've seen so much. "I have too many drinks and then tell my friends I had sex dreams". Less than a day after its debut, the new single has already shot to the No. 1 spot on iTunes in the USA and around the world.
