Bomb experts create beeping Easter Egg Hunt for blind children

Christopher Hallmark, special events coordinator for Odessa, said he wasn't exactly sure for how long the Easter egg hunts had been running, but was very familiar with it.
There are several Easter egg hunts scheduled this weekend in Wichita. The event will be held rain or shine, and is located at Community Bible Church, 638 Parris Island Gtwy in Beaufort.
The Stampeding Clovers 4-H group, of which Smith is one of the leaders, and some friends worked Friday afternoon to fill plastic eggs in preparation for the hunt, where numerous 4-H members and other students at the ranch will serve as helpers.
Parents say it's made the hunt not only less stressful but more cherishable for them and their children.
A jackpot egg worth $5000 and five other golden eggs worth $1000 each will also be up for grabs for alpine sleuths.
Over ten thousand eggs were scooped by kids at the third annual Operation Addy Easter egg hunt.
Community Bible Church is also hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
"There's not a lot of Easter egg hunts I guess in town so yea this is flawless, and they get to see the animals too", said the Folden family. "Just to see all the kids everyone is having fun and, yeah, it's just great", she said.
Vandalia, Butler Township, Butler High School softball and girls basketball teams and the First Baptist Church of Vandalia are throwing an egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday.
For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum, located at 2142 North Genesee Road in Burton, put on the Animal Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15, from 10:30 a.m.to noon.
"If it's successful, and it looks like it is, we want to make it annual", she said.
Volunteers from Salem Baptist Church register children for an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. So she got to really take time and pick them up and do her own thing, "says Attendee Gwen Moldenhauer".
Hundreds of egg hunters stood on the football field scooping up as many treats as they could.
