Tesla has set towering production targets in line with the high demand for the vehicle. Cowen and Company set a $155.00 price target on shares of Tesla and gave the company a "sell" rating in a research report on Thursday, February 23rd. Finally, Pacific Crest reiterated a "hold" rating on shares of Tesla in a research note on Tuesday, December 20th. The stock presently has a consensus rating of "Hold" and a consensus target price of $266.42. The company has a 50 day moving average of $268.53 and a 200 day moving average of $229.50. The stock's market cap is $49.15 billion.
Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) was the target of unusually large options trading activity on Monday.
"While meeting the technical definition of independence, five of the six current non-executive directors have professional or personal ties to Mr Musk that could put at risk their ability to exercise independent judgment", part of the letter written by the investors read. This is an increase of approximately 113% compared to the average daily volume of 41,417 put options. RH had a net margin of 1.33% and a return on equity of 7.09%. The business earned $2.29 billion during the quarter, compared to analysts' expectations of $2.21 billion.
Last month, Tesla reported a loss of US$121 million in the fourth quarter of last year, but that was smaller than its loss in the same period of the previous year. The business's revenue was up 88.2% compared to the same quarter previous year.
