Sheldon Easter Egg Hunt And Bike Drawing Is Saturday

With Easter on Sunday, many Boone County towns and churches are providing children's activities on April 15.

Easter eggs and chicks symbolize new life.

Easter Egg Hunt at Lincoln Recreation Center from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday with food, face painting, Jupiter jumps, coloring, live entertainment and more.

Searching for Easter Eggs this weekend? Each field will be covered with candy, plastic eggs and donated items from Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.

The Community Easter Egg Hunt at Hillcrest Baptist Church begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday featuring games, crafts, and an Easter egg hunt for kids, age 2 through fifth grade. For 8 and younger. There will be lots of candy and a prize for everyone! Parents can take photos.

In Salem, the annual event is sponsored by the Salem Lions Club.

Community Bible Church is also hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza from 10 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Crossroads Church will hold a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt on Saturday, April 15 from 4 p.m. until 6 the Mill in Lebanon, 300 N. Maple Street. Cal Vicki, 314-566-4949. From 9 noon on Saturday, kids up to 9 years old can participate in age-divided egg hunts.
