New Nintendo Direct coming Wednesday

By tapping these amiibo (as well as previously released Splatoon series amiibo), the figure's character will appear in the game and befriend players.

Arms will launch for Switch in North America, Europe, and Japan on June 16, Nintendo announced.

Nintendo also revealed neon yellow Joy-Cons with a similarly colored strap accessory, which will be sold separately. The games will be released in June 2017 and July 2017 respectively. The games will rotate and each month new classic games will take place of the previous month's games.

Nintendo finally announced when Switch owners can get their hands on a standalone dock in today's Nintendo Direct. The more eggs you'll bring, the more cool items, weapons and gears you'll unlock. Additionally, a "Way of the Hado" mode lets players throw HADOKENS with first-person motion controls, while an exciting two-player co-op mode gives players and a friend one health bar for two player vs. CPU matches.

The game will support online co-op multiplayer on the Nintendo Network, although the developer has yet to reveal what kind of modes will be supported with the game.

Find a full list of the Switch's upcoming titles, including Sonic Forces and Disgaea 5 Complete, here. On April 28th, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be available for the Switch. Maybe we'll get an official release date for it. There will be both racing and battling tournaments. We can expect more details about these in these coming days.

More importantly, Nintendo wants to make sure that no one will be able to hack its console in order to share inappropriate videos, audios, or pictures to young children.

We already know that this year will be GX Australia's last, after corporate sponsors pulled out on the gaming convention at the last moment.
