Easter events 2017: Mid-Columbia egg hunts and more

Easter Egg Hunt with the Washington Nationals - April 16, 2017, 1:35 p.m. Nationals Park, 1500 S Capitol St SE, Washington, DC.

The festivities will include, in addition to the egg hunts, face painting, music, story time, kid-friendly activities and a petting zoo with chicks and bunnies.

Gate admission, egg hunt, Easter celebration and parking are all free.

Take photos with the Easter Bunny through April 15 from 9 a.m.to 8:30 p.m.

Kids who collect the most floating eggs will receive a mystery prize.

His Tabernacle Family Church in Horseheads held their annual Easter egg hunt and this year they chose to do something different - using a helicopter drop. Their hunting was not in vain - candy treats were found inside the plastic eggs. The eggs are usually gone in 10 minutes or less. Children should bring their own bags or baskets. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available, and the Easter Bunny will make a visit thanks to the Atlantic Fire Department.

Online registration is closed, but late walk-up sign-ups are offered with packet pickup today from 2 to 6 p.m.at Davenport's Genesis Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic (1702 E. 53rd St.). The eggs, filled with candy and surprises will be hidden along the lake bank for different age groups to go find.

This church in Aurora will have a pancake breakfast served at 9 a.m. and an egg hunt for children 10 and younger at 10 a.m. In the hope of restoring a chocolate filled family weekend and to support two local charities Julia's House Children's Hospice & Children's Chance, we'll be running an Easter Egg Hunt Salisbury city centre (we understand the culprit is a local).
