On the Calendar: Easter Weekend Means Egg Hunts, Bunny Sightings

There's EGG-CEPTIONAL Easter Fun to be had April 15 at the Elman W. Campbell Museum in Newmarket, including egg decorating and Easter activities.

Okay, so they're not as tricky as wily rabbits.

The Easter Egg hunt is going to be huge with the support of Bridge Church: "A major partner for Easter Egg Course is providing 2,000 eggs", said Mount.

That's why we've saved you a step and rounded up nine of them here. It will be great to welcome old and new visitors to the shopping centre with an array of activities to celebrate the coming of Easter.

Community Bible Church is also hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. on Saturday. There will be more than 50,000 eggs and prizes including a flat screen TV, iPods and more.

WHEN: 10 a.m. Saturday. It's free, but attendees must bring their own basket to fill with eggs.

Kids 11 and younger can hunt for candy around the market in Henderson, and get a free ride ticket and raffle ticket.

The Grant County Fire District 7 Auxiliary High Rollers hosts their annual hunt from 11 a.m.to noon outside McKay Healthcare at 127 Second Ave. SW. All egg hunts will be at the Village's Center Stage grass.

Easter Egg Hunt at The Plaza at the Barrington - Carmel, starts at 1:30 p.m. A donation to participate of $3.00 per child allows participation in the hunts.

More than 3000 eggs will be hidden in Penny Park with children divided into age groups.

Eggstravaganza is from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m.

Austin Landing is putting on a "Hop Into Spring Egg Hunt" Saturday afternoon. The hunt is open to children in the age range of toddler to second grade. Also, eggs were plentiful in nature during the spring, so they were a flawless item to pair with the celebrations of the end of winter and the beginning of warmth, flowers and new baby animals.

Easter Sunday, April 16, is a bit busier.

In Harwich, the annual egg hunt takes place Friday at the former Harwich Middle School on Sisson Road.

Then, there will be the Egg Scramble in John Shaw Field at noon.

Finally, the city of Hialeah will be rolling out over 50,000 eggs for kids to find at their annual event starting at 10 a.m. Saturday inside Goodlet Park. This egg hunt is hosted by Newport Baptist Church.

Easter Sunday service starts at 10:45 a.m.
