First Picture Of Noel Fielding In Bake Off Released

Welford Park, famous for its snowdrop flowers, is now closed to the public until July to allow Channel 4 and Love Productions, who own the popular format to the show, to film the series. It's thought the theme tune will even remain the same.

Channel 4 has yet to announce when the new show will air.

"Viewers will get the familiar tent set-up, in the attractive grounds of Welford Park, and the same theme tune they've been hearing since it was first launched in 2010".

Of course, Paul Hollywood is still there along with various other familiar sights.

GBBO alumni Paul Hollywood is returning and will be joined by presenter, Sandi Toksvig, comedian Noel Fielding and restauranteur Prue Leith.

Paul said recently about his new co-stars: "Prue, obviously shes got this huge professional background and I've got nothing but respect for her, I'm really looking forward to it".

Channel 4 tweeted the picture alongside the caption "good things come to those who bake" from its official account last night, having sensationally won the rights from the BBC in a reported £75m deal a year ago.

In the image, which sees the new Bake Off line-up standing behind a table of cakes and pork pies, the former Great British Menu judge completed her look with a plain white t-shirt and a matching yellow necklace.

"I did know about Prue but I didn't know about the others at all but its ideal, I'm really, really excited".

Great British Bake Off fans have reacted with humour, horror and everything in between to the first official photo of the show's new judge and presenter line-up.

"At the end of the day, most people were in the dark, it's kept very quiet for obvious reasons".
