Annual Easter egg hunt in Blind River Saturday

Children earn their eggs instead of hunting for them at this free event at Faith Mountain in Lakewood. Glen Ellen Village Market is providing 120-dozen eggs for volunteers to prepare the day before, April 14, at 3 Glen Ellen Fire Station, 13445 Arnold Drive.

10 a.m. - Easter Egg Hunt, Van Wert: First United Methodist Church will be holding an Easter egg hunt at Fountain Park.

The Easter Egg Dash is a race for children to pick up as many eggs as they can after the whistle blows. Free with regular museum admission ($8 per person ages 2 and up, free for members). The egg hunt and other activities will follow from 10 to 11 Town Hall. The rest of the age groups must on their own with no help.

The big Plaza event, the Soroptomists' annual Easter egg hunt starts promptly on Saturday at 10 a.m. He described the free event as a "good kickoff to spring" that allows families to get out and enjoy being outside in the park with loved ones.

The Church of New Beginnings will host a free Easter Egg Hunt and barbeque. There will also be an appearance by the Easter Bunny. The event starts at 9 a.m. We plan to have over 10,000 eggs total and a number of special prizes for each age group. Tax and gratuity are not included.

It's an Eggstravangaza at the Moore Farms in Lake City, SC.

The Humane Society will use treats to entice the dogs to the eggs. Thousands of eggs will be filled with candy and prize slips.

For this hunt, children will be divided into three groups based on age- Ages 1-3, Ages 4-6 and Ages 7-9.

All of this weekend's egg hunts are free and open to the public.
