Samsung to Strike Back With the Galaxy S8

Samsung has finally introduced its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, two smartphones that come with some impressive specifications.

As it is, Bixby launches with a visual search feature, Bixby Home screen to the right of the device's main home screen and 10 native Samsung apps, with third-party integrations coming soon.

Samsung Electronics recently unveiled its flagship handsets; Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

Samsung notes that its facial recognization feature isn't the most secure way to protect your smartphone. Both of these screens are departures from the more traditional 16:9 phone (and TV) screens.

We are not sure if the software and facial recognition integration has been perfected to recognize this security flaw but this video would definitely have triggered Samsung's attention.

One should wait until 9th of May, when Best Buy will start offering unlocked versions of the Galaxy S8, and buyers will be able to use those phones with any major American carrier.

LG Electronics Inc.'s flagship G6 also has facial recognition as one feature provided by Android's Smart Lock.

Twitter user Marcianophone ran a test while streaming to Periscope to see if a selfie of someone's face would unlock their device.

The smartphones offer biometric authentication options including a fingerprint scanner and iris scanner, as well as IP68 water and dust resistance, MicroSD support up to 256GB, Always-on display, and fast and wireless charging capabilities. In order to make this APK work, you will first need to install the latest version of TouchWiz Launcher pulled from the S8, then go to TouchWiz Launcher's settings to enable Bixby. Also, we gave each phone Nougat since Samsung has updated most S7 models to Nougat at this time.
