Sachin: A Billion Dreams trailer set to release today

It was an occasion to revisit memories as cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar launched the trailer of "Sachin - A Billion Dreams" in Mumbai today. Even the words on the poster- "Father, Brother, Practice, 99s Hurt, Defeats, Fans, Coach, Pressure, Injuries, and Bouncers" are some that the sportsman would have heard many times.

As fans of Master Blaster wait for the trailer of 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' to be unveiled today, the makers have planned a big surprise.

The much-awaited release date of his Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar's biopic has finally come to an end.

Also present at the launch were the director, James Erskine who had flown down from the United Kingdom specially to attend the trailer launch. Written and directed by Emmy nominated filmmaker James Erskine with music by Oscar and grammy victor AR Rahman, "Sachin: A Billion Dreams" is a biographical drama consisting of several precious footages and bytes that tell his story worth a watch. I remain a private person but realised that there is much I have not revealed or spoken about, to those who have been instrumental to my life and career, especially my fans. The biopic on Sachin will showcase his journey from a little cricket fan to becoming the god of cricket. The movie stars Sachin Tendulkar, his son Arjun Tendulkar and Mayuresh Pem who is playing the role of Nitin Tendulkar.

The 2 minute 13 seconds trailer of Sachin: A Billion Dreams depicts the journey of iconic Sachin Tendulkar from childhood and his Dreams, Dedication & Inspiration in cricket.

Apart from his acting debut, Sachin also made his singing debut with Cricket Wali Beat along with singer Sonu Nigam. The trailer itself is showing how Sachin Tendulkar transformed from a wild child to a Virtuous Hero. The music of the movie is composed by AR Rahman, two times Academy and Grammy award victor.
