The officials gave the Brazil global his marching orders after he picked up two yellow cards in the 2-0 defeat, a loss that significantly dented Barcelona's La Liga title challenge.
The post-game report said: "The player Neymar Da Silva Santos J, after being sent off, when he was entering the tunnel, and [sarcastically] applauded the fourth official".
Referee Jesus Gil Manzano wrote down in his report that Neymar committed that act.
BARCELONA star Neymar will miss the El Clasico after receiving a two match following his sending off against Malaga.
A yellow card for Neymar in Turin against Juventus would earn him another suspension, this time in the continental tournament, and rule him out of the crucial second leg at Camp Nou against the Serie A champions.
Needless to say, at this critical point of the La Liga season, Barcelona could have done without his absence.
Neymar was sent off as Barcelona lost ground on Real Madrid in the La Liga title race with a defeat at Malaga.
The Spanish league could impose an extra three-game ban.
If Barcelona are going to overtake Real Madrid in the La Liga standings, they will nearly certainly need three points out of El Clasico.
Neymar will miss this weekend's home game against Real Sociedad, the April 23 trip to the Bernabeu, and the home clash with Osasuna three days later.
"It's curious that a team like us that doesn't usually kick people gets so many yellow cards in such an incomprehensible manner", Enrique said.
Real Madrid have a three-point lead in the La Liga title chase in addition to their match in hand.
Playing a high-line in search of an equaliser, Barca's 10 men were finally put to the sword by Malaga in the final minute when Pablo Fornals squared for Jony to smash home from close range. Fellow forwards Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi have 24 goals and 27 goals, respectively. But [as players] we don't point fingers at each other.
