Netflix release first minute of Orange is the New Black season 5

Season five of Orange is the New Black will be available for streaming in full on June 9. Maybe she gets bumped by one of the bloodthirsty inmates, the gun goes off, and the new season deals with Daya grappling with if she pulled the trigger on goal or if it was just an accident.

The fourth (and best) season of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black ended on one heck of a cliffhanger, with Daya threatening to shoot C.O. Humphrey with a gun.

Season 5 will take place over the span of just three days, which will lead up to the already-renewed Seasons 6 and 7.

It's about to get real for the ladies of Litchfield Prison in season five of "Orange Is The New Black". CO Humphrey snuck a gun into the prison, and naturally, he ends up having it turned against him. Looks like we'll all have to wait until our June 5 binge to find out who it was. Uzo Aduba, who plays Crazy Eyes on the Netflix original series, shared a picture of her and ex-girlfriend Dandelion (Emily Althaus) in what appears to be the infirmary. Then, the screen cuts to black and we hear the bang of a gunshot.

We still have nearly two months to wait until Orange Is the New Black returns. This set up the prison riot that ensued in the finale, leaving fans wondering how things could possibly resolve after so much damage has been done.

"It's about to get real", reads the tagline for the first look clip of Orange Is the New Black Season 5 Netflix released on Tuesday. Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) and Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) spot the riot from down the hall but make a quick exit back to their bunks. Season 5 sounds like it could be just as powerful emotionally as it is intriguing intellectually.
