Things We Like About The New Samsung Galaxy S8

As the company has already received relentless criticism for the lack of user safety due to the Galaxy Note 7 debacle, Samsung would not want the user security offered by devices to come in question as well.

On March 29, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, finally confirming or debunking rumors about the handset.

Furthermore, Phandroid has noted that the unlocked versions of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus are essentially tagged at a cheaper price compared with the ones being retailed through carriers.

"The S8 is a unquestionably a strong product but Samsung must now deliver a faultless launch to move on from its earlier difficulties". The device will be available in Australia on 28 April. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S7, for instance, would not allow many users cleanly switch from Verizon to T-Mobile and vice versa because of missing LTE bands.

As of now, the only units you can find out there are meant for reviews and so far, there are a bunch of interesting stuff we are gradually finding out about the phones. That includes the Microsoft Office suite of apps, like Word, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Skype, Groove Music, MSN News, Outlook, Bing, and more.

"The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ usher in a new era of smartphone design and fantastic new services, opening up new ways to experience the world. Right now, Bixby feels very beta and isn't the type of advanced personal assistant we expect to see in 2017".

A YouTube channel named iDeviceHelp tried testing the Galaxy S8's advertised face recognition software. The regular Samsung Galaxy S8 is tagged at $725 while the bigger Samsung galaxy S8 Plus is priced at $825.

And Samsung should stop touting facial recognition as a way to lock your phone.

The rear camera has 12MP sensors and comes with Dual Pixel technology. The new devices also feature facial recognition capability.
