San Bernardino school shooting: Students, parents embrace in emotional reunions

Police chief Jarrod Burguan said on Twitter: "Two adults are deceased in a classroom, believed to be a murder-suicide". Student Jonathan Martinez, 8, was airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center after the shooting where he later died from his injuries, police said.
San Bernardino was the site of an infamous mass shooting with terror links that killed 14 and wounded 22 in December 2015.
"He simply said he was there to drop something off there with his wife", San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said at a Monday afternoon news conference.
Burguan said preliminary information indicates the two were recently married.
The shooter was identified as Cedric Anderson, 53 of Riverside, Burguan said.
The Associated Press quoted Maria Garcia, a spokeswoman for Bernardino City Unified school district, who said one of the victims was a teacher.
Video from news helicopters showed lines of young children clapping and giving high-fives as they walked to meet their parents at a nearby high school.
The names of the two students who were injured had not been released at this report and they remained in local hospitals.
A school official said the attack was believed to stem from a "domestic dispute" and that the teacher knew the gunman.
A teacher has been shot dead and two pupils have been critically injured in an apparent murder-suicide at a California primary school.
"He came in and very, very quickly upon entering the classroom started shooting", he said.
The school was locked down and students evacuated after Anderson was confirmed to be dead.
Students at nearby Cal State University San Bernardino were told to shelter in place until further notice, and the BBC has reported that the elementary school is now on lockdown.
San Bernardino is located about 60 miles east of Los Angeles. The San Bernardino Fire Department reported that there were multiple gunshot wounds, and that a triage has been set up with a victim count taking place.
