The Undertaker's "Career vs. Streak" match against Shawn Michaels, in which he defeated HBK to go 18-0 all-time at WrestleMania, is one of the great modern matches. The win-loss record for the Phenome now stands at 23-2 at Mania. Even as the WWE crew dismantled the big set, they left Taker's clothes alone until the last possible moment.
After the match, he laid down his wrestling gear in the ring to signal the end of his almost three decade-long career.
The Undertaker might have retired from in-ring competition after suffering a loss against Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33.
Jim Ross rejoined WWE for what was thought to just be a tribute to Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 - in what turned out to likely be Taker's final match.
After more than 26 years as one of WWE's most prolific and successful wrestlers, it looks like the Undertaker is hanging up the boots. The WWE is hell-bent on making Reigns the face of the company and they are going to use Lesnar as a final resort to put him over.
Regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, The undertaker is also the WWE's longest serving in-ring performer since signing for them in 1990. In the end, he left his long coat, hat, and gloves in the ring which left many believing that the "Phenom" was done in the ring.
Batista was a man-mountain who went like a raged animal against The Undertaker in this match.
When he debuted in WWE back in 1990, nearly three decades, no one thought that the gimmick of a mortician would work, let alone become the greatest character in wrestling history. The match concludes with the Undertaker leaving his gear inside the ring, and this was the last match for the true legend competing in the ring as he announces his retirement. Roman Reigns is again involved in a mass movement of disapproval, though his Royal Rumble victory from a couple of years ago has nothing on this. The highlight of the match was when The Undertaker delivered a choke slam to Triple-H on top of the cage.
WrestleMania 34 is still a year away, but the early rumors are that the show will be headlined by a match with Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
