Multiple Dead In Shooting At San Bernardino Elementary School

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (RNN) - At least four were shot at an elementary school on Monday, officials reported, with two adults dead.

Burguan later tweeted that the shooting was a suspected murder-suicide.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department wrote on Twitter that there were multiple victims at at the scene but did not provide a count. The victims have yet to be identified, but at least four people are reportedly being treated for their injuries including the two previously mentioned students and a teacher. The conditions of the victims are not immediately known.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the shooting occurred at North Park School. "We have a shooter down and three victims", said Maria Garcia, a spokeswoman for San Bernardino City Unified.

The gunman was among those who were possibly down, according to a tweet from San Bernardino Police Department Chief Jarrod Burguan.

The shooting happened at the North Park School.

The other students at North Park School in San Bernardino were being taken to another school nearby.

Officers are evacuating students from the school, escorting them to Cal State. The elementary school is about a mile from campus.
