After a week of storms and a couple of days of strangely chilly temperatures, warmer, calmer weather is expected to return over the weekend. Sunday night, cloud cover will increase and lows will be in the lower 60's.
Look for clouds to move in by Tuesday night along with a slight chance of showers for our northwestern counties and lows near 61. Skies will stay mostly clear. Even when it turns "cooler" during the remainder of the week, afternoon temperatures still are near and above 70. Winds will be from the north at 15 and shift to the east at 15. However, temperatures will climb back into the 70s for the weekend and more chances for 70s into next week. Tuesday will be the start of our big warm up as temperatures climb into the 60s and 70s. A 20 percent chance of rain will be for the Heartland/ Concho Valley areas. Winds will be from the east at 10-15 miles per hour.
Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny and dry with highs in the mid 80s. Overnight temperatures should be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
