Frank Lampard: This Chelsea player is the best in the Premier League

CHELSEA visit Bournemouth on Saturday after boss Antonio Conte declared that six wins from their final eight games will secure the Premier League title.

"I don't smell the victory, because there are seven games to go".

Chelsea's Marcos Alonso, centre celebrates with his teammates after scoring his sides 3rd goal during their English Premier League soccer match between Bournemouth and Chelsea at Dean Court stadium in Bournemouth, England, Saturday, April 8, 2017.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte during the press conference.

"We started very well with a will to win the game", the Italian added.

Conte's side ground out a barely deserved 2-1 win over Manchester City on Wednesday just days after crashing to a shock 2-1 home defeat against struggling Crystal Palace.

"Don't forget Tottenham last season fought for the title until the end and it means that Tottenham are a really good team".

Third-placed Liverpool held on to move nine points clear of fifth and sixth-placed Arsenal and Manchester United, both of whom have three games in hand of Klopp's side.

"But I think Chelsea are the one team that do it brilliantly in every position".

It might have been three after 27 minutes when Alonso's clever pass gave Hazard the chance to cross from the left, but when the ball reached Costa, he shot well wide.

When quizzed on his own current form, Hazard told Chelsea's official website: "Fantastic". However, he has been very important for the team throughout the entire season. "When we conceded the goal we lost a bit of confidence but we managed the game and deserved to win". "I don't know the other teams' results but I think there is a space between us and the other teams".

"I don't like to tempt fate but I think it's almost done", Lampard told Sky Sports 1's Goals on Sunday programme.

Southampton kept up its late-season revival by beating West Bromwich Albion thanks to Jordy Clasie's first-half goal.

It was Tottenham's 16th league match at White Hart Lane in 2016/17 and 14th win, with the North Londoners having the best home record in the entire division.

"Victor Moses and [Marcos] Alonso play as full-backs when they're defending and wingers when they've got the ball". He took his goal brilliantly - from the first touch that got the ball out of his feet to the bodyswerve to the calm finish despite stumbling - and it capped another match where he was the best and most unsafe player on the pitch.
