Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger responds to reports linking Alexis Sanchez to Chelsea

Chelsea are on the verge of winning the Premier League title in their first season under manager Antonio Conte, while Arsenal sit outside of the top four after a hard period.

"I like to stay in a city and in a team, but in a team that is a victor, that has a winning mentality".

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has slammed those who have criticised him in recent months and has pointed to his record as justification that he is a top player.

Arsenal need more players with the mentality of Alexis Sanchez throughout the team to be successful, according to Sol Campbell.

"I think he's happy here". However his future at the club is uncertain after contract talks with the club reached a stand-off. He wants to win the championship and that is what everyone wants, I can understand that completely.

However, during a brief promotional event in his homeland, Sanchez suggested he is happy to stay in London, but left it open to interpretation as to which club that will be with.

Per the source, Blues boss Antonio Conte has set this sights on both Alexis Sanchez and Ozil.

"It happened before when we had to sell our best players".

He has scored 18 Premier League goals this season, with his side sitting sixth in the table.

"Once you go into the final two or three months of the season, everybody is focused on the season", said Wenger.

Sanchez's future has been a hot topic all year long, as the former Barcelona man has yet to sign a new contract. "I hope the club will find an agreement with them".

Sanchez is reportedly on the Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich's radar.

Arsene Wenger is in a position where he can ill afford to take any more backwards steps between now and the end of the campaign.
