The event is free and is for children ages 1-12.

Activities, arts and crafts and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny are scheduled from 4 p.m. through 4:45 p.m. Be sure to bring your Easter baskets to collect the eggs during the hunt.

The egg hunt will include 6,000 eggs, as well as a bouncy house, slide, barrel train rides and pictures with the Easter Bunny (bring your own camera). Refreshments will be served after the hunt.

PAVILLION - Pavillion Community United Methodist Church is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 9th at 12:15 p.m. Children should bring a basket and eggs to share.

The city, Berwyn Park District and North Berwyn Park District are joining forces to host this free egg hunt for ages 1 to 10.

Community Cares will host an Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. April 15 at the War Memorial Walking Trail Park in Oak Grove.

"Lastly, and most importantly, I just want to thank all the businesses and individuals who donate to this year after year", Jacobson said, "We could not do events like this without the support and generosity of the community".

"It gives them something to do and be proud of", Prokop said.

It's the city's largest annual youth event, Recreation Assistant Program Director Tim Hanlon said.

The students are going to be filling the eggs in a 20-minute period called PAWS that allows teachers to have interventions with students.

A free Easter egg hunt for underprivileged kids in Jackson is now in jeopardy. They can hunt with Geoffrey! (NO parent may assist) and 9-12 years old at 11:45 a.m.

"The hunt started as an outreach event that we could do as a church for the community", Jacobson explained, "It has grown in popularity over the years with more and more kids attending".

The event includes an animal egg hunt, which is a hunt for the animals to find eggs within their habitats. They will be filled with candy eggs and toys.

The first reported egg roll took place during former president Andrew Johnson's term in office, according to the Lincoln Log Cabin's website. There also will be cookies, lemonade and some prize eggs, and the Easter bunny will be available for photos. The Easter Bunny will be making a guest appearance so don't forget your basket!

"For us, it's about a free family fun day", Pastor David Dyess of the CLC said.
