Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has been ruled out for the rest of the season, after manager Juergen Klopp revealed the Senegal worldwide is set to have surgery on a knee injury.
Senegal worldwide Mane, who has scored 13 Premier League goals this season, suffered the injury during Liverpool's 3-1 win over Everton in the Premier League last weekend.
"I love giving these boys an opportunity but it has to be the right situation and the game against Bournemouth didn't look like the flawless moment to give them the responsibility for the rest of the game", said Klopp.
If Wilson - who has over 50 goals/assists for the U23s this season - can't get into the team when the Reds are crying out for wing cover, then he should just quit at the end of the season. "That is the only good news".
Klopp's side visit Stoke today on the back of dropping two points at home to Bournemouth on Wednesday.
Manager Jürgen Klopp has also said that the Senegalese worldwide may need surgery on his knee.
"Lallana is much better but isn't yet back training and we need a few more days because it is a shooting muscle".

The Brazil worldwide was sick at half-time of Wednesday's draw with Bournemouth and has not been into the training ground since. "Stoke is not too far away so we will give him all the time he needs, but it will be really close".
"Sadio we are pretty sure will need surgery".
"We want to qualify for the Champions League and if you don't then you can think about the reasons for that, but at the moment we don't think about that or why we only have 60 points or why we have already 60 points", the German tactician added.
"I think I did just well, I know I have a lot of improvements I can make but I would say I am happy with the three years".
Liverpool's attacking stocks have been notably depleted ahead of that match against Stoke, and Klopp faces an anxious wait to discover if Philippe Coutinho will be ready to play.
"For me, this season was a little bit hard but the last few weeks, I feel better and I think you can see that on the pitch", he added. However Liverpool still have a six point cushion over 5th placed Arsenal.
