Gareth Barry could be suspended for two games if he picks up a yellow card for Everton's Premier League clash against Leicester City at the weekend.
The 33-year-old has done some light training this week but Yohan Benalouane will continue to deputise at centre-half against Everton.
Craig Shakespeare refused to put a time frame on Wes Morgan's return. I'd want him to do a few days training.
"It is a big loss but Yohan (Benalouane) has come in and done well". "I'm hoping that everyone trains fully on Saturday". It is a new experience. Wes is still playing a captain's part off the pitch at the games and in the dressing room.
The Foxes are preparing for a run of four away Premier League games in a row, with games at Crystal Palace, Leicester, Arsenal and West Brom still to come this month. "I encourage him to be in and around it".
However, Atletico Madrid are having trouble selling all their tickets for the game, which could free up seats for Leicester City fans.
"There hasn't been any Champions League talk".
He said: "Potentially it is".
Many wouldn't have expected the Premier League side to get to the quarter finals after drawing Europa League holders Sevilla in the last round, especially given they trailed from the first leg.
Tuesday saw Everton impress against Manchester United at Old Trafford in a match they would have won had not Ashley Williams conceded the injury-time penalty from which Zlatan Ibrahimovic secured a 1-1 draw.
Southampton and Watford have the chance to push themselves to the magical 40-point mark with wins this weekend, while previously doomed-looking Leicester and also Stoke can make it to 39, which should be more than enough with seven games to go after this round. I couldn't have asked for a better start.
The Foxes are eight points above the bottom three and are as high as 11th in the standings at the moment.
