As the Cavs turn: Drama subsided, NBA champs hitting stride

Sports/Reuters pic LOS ANGELES, April 6 - LeBron James scored 36 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers pounded rivals Boston to regain control of the Eastern Conference yesterday as Russell Westbrook's bid for National Basketball Association history was delayed.
The Cavs are facing Celtics at Boston at the fourth time in this season. The second-place Celtics trail the Cleveland Cavaliers by 1 1/2 games for the top spot in the East. Michael says, "Rest and having players healthy has always been the number one concern". But the Raptors are going to make them work for it, even if Toronto does have a game remaining against the Cavs. So the C's would basically need to win their final three games while hoping the Cavs go 1-3 or worse in their final four games for the Celtics to jump back on top in the East.
However, with all that being said, the Cavs have shown a proclivity to play down to their competition in the regular season, and with the playoffs about a week away, there's a good or better chance they were just bored tonight.
The Cavaliers outscored the Celtics 58-48 inside and pulled down 51 rebounds to Boston's 38. The Cavaliers have some tough matchups to close the season, but as we saw Wednesday night at the TD Garden, they are still very much the Cleveland Cavaliers.
"The most frustrating thing for me was the fouls, " he said.

The Magic led 55-53 at halftime before the Cavs blew the doors off with nine 3-pointers and a 23-point swing in the third quarter.
Isaiah Thomas led the Boston with a total of 26 points.
