France worldwide N'Golo Kante has revealed why he ended up snubbing Arsene Wenger's Arsenal for Antonio Conte's Chelsea.
Kante has played in 29 of Chelsea's 30 league matches, with Antonio Conte's side seven points clear in the very best.
"For me it's easy to say one player from Chelsea", he told Sky Sports News.
Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has backed his teammate Eden Hazard for the PFA Player of the Year award.
Wenger strengthened his midfield options with the purchase of Granit Xhaka but the Switzerland international's impact in north London pales into significance when compared to Kante's Chelsea career.
Kante, 26, has played a major role in their success and could be about to clinch the league crown for a second consecutive season, having won it previous year with unlikely winners Leicester.
"Maybe Tottenham and Liverpool are going to come back so we have to focus on our game and play game-after-game for the title".
Nevertheless, the midfielder said he felt more needed at Stamford Bridge as well as other teams.
"Mathematically we need six wins, so we just need to focus on our way and win six games as soon as possible for this title".
The Blues have been the runaway leaders of the league this season and have been tipped to clinch the title easily.
Given the respective seasons the two have enjoyed in 2016-17, there will likely be huge frustration among Arsenal fans to learn Kante could have been an Arsenal player.
