Kompany in for City, while Zouma enters the fray

Vincent Kompany hopes he has served as an example to Manchester City's youngsters after ending his latest spell on the sidelines by completing 90 minutes in the 2-1 defeat to Premier League leaders Chelsea.

"Out of something, there is always a new target".

"(Chelsea) play fewer games, they have more time to prepare.

It would mean that he will miss matches against Bournemouth, Manchester United and the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham.

Delph made his first Premier League start of the season while captain Kompany his first since November and third of the campaign.

"I worked very hard for that one opportunity and within the conditions that were available to me, I was helpful to the team".

"This game against City will be a six-point affair since if we win. they will (effectively) be out of the title race while we keep the advantage", the Brazil-born Spain worldwide, who has scored 17 league goals this season but only four since Christmas, told ESPN Brazil.

"I didn't see it, but during the game it's very hard", Conte said. Eden Hazard (calf) and David Luiz (knee) will both play despite slight discomfort.

The Brazilian chased and harried all game, putting pressure on the vulnerable Willy, Stones and Kompany, none of whom looked like they enjoyed being constantly put under pressure.

"We were the better team absolutely, but they got six points against us, and we got zero".

"We've got great attacking players and they've been great all season, but we fell short". I don't know exactly how many weeks he needs to come back but I think he's at the end of the process.
