Conte's men took a significant step towards glory on Wednesday as a pair of first-half goals from Eden Hazard secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea had slipped up with a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last time out to give the challengers some thoughts of closing the gap. It would also be a big middle finger to Spurs fans who have been getting over vocal with their hopes of leapfrogging the leaders, as if we needed more reasons to hope Chelsea win.
"We have another day to check the situation in the right way".
"It's normal that with 27 points available anything can happen in the league, but we are in a really good position".
Chelsea saw their lead over second-placed Tottenham Hotspur cut to seven points after the loss, and Conte warned his players that they faced another tough test against fourth-placed Manchester City on Wednesday.
"Tomorrow we have another game", said Conte, who is waiting to see whether Nigerian star Victor Moses has recovered from the toe injury that prevented him playing against Palace.

However, if the Chelsea versus Crystal Palace match taught us anything, it's that Chelsea struggle without their first choice players and with Moses set to miss out again, Manchester City will certainly be looking to capitalise and pick up all three points.
Conte, who has previously admitted his outlook on management has been influenced by those painful memories, said he will not be taking anything for granted until the end of the season.
With nine games remaining in the regular season, Chelsea (22-3-4) now are in first place and Manchester City (17-7-5) are in fourth place.
"You don't want the pressure that you've not had all season".
Kevin de Bruyne still believes Man City can win the Premier League.
"Every game is completely different so what I like of my teams is to have the courage to play", said Guardiola.
"Now I'd like to see what we try to do from the beginning".
Aguero has been in good form recently, scoring eight goals in his last eight Manchester City games. He showed me how wrong I was not to put him on the field.
