A Hollywood producer has accused Alec Baldwin of lying in his new memoir, claiming the actor was well aware that Nikki Reed, his costar in the R-rated 2006 indie film Mini's First Time, was underage while filming.
Baldwin then tweeted today, "And Hollywood producers like Brunetti never do anything shady or unethical?"
"If he had just said, 'I didn't know her age, ' I would have thought, 'He's a liar, ' and let it go", Brunetti told THR. Look at it as good publicity for that stunning work of yours on 50 SHADES OF GRAY'.
"So to summarize, @AlecBaldwin knew NikkiReed_I_Am was 16, didn't find out AFTER filming, and did not yell at us. On the set, Nikki, being 16, would often speak quickly the way teenagers do, and Alec asked me about that at times because he had trouble understanding her, and I would remind him, 'She's 16!'" At the end of the shoot. "You're already buried", Baldwin responded. Undeterred, Alec continued to push Dana to release the "union required release form", while labelling him a "Hollywood zombie".
"More lies", Brunetti wrote back.
Here's a hot tip: if you're going to bring up decades-old beefs, maybe check that other people don't have the receipts.
Reed has not commented publicly on the debate over her age. Only a idiot like you would not pick up that / deny it'.
These days, Alec Baldwin is best known for his impression of President Donald Trump on "Saturday Night Live" and as Jack Donaghy from "30 Rock", but he's been in the game for a long time. "No wonder Spacey fired you".
Brunetti then sarcastically offered the actor a part in his upcoming film, tweeting: 'Don't be jealous. "I take you have a copy of that?"
But Baldwin didn't seem interested, and instead spruiked his new network show.
"You mean my Oscar nominated films.?" Nice plug by the way. "You know what that's for.". Baldwin tweeted from his ABFoundation handle. Which is it?" Alec then concluded the Twitter feud, for now, by writing, "Dana, you're very amusing.
The spat came after the House of Cards leveled his massive allegation against Baldwin on Wednesday.
The "Boss Baby" star's new book, "Nevertheless: A Memoir", went on sale Tuesday.
The writer and director of the film, Nick Guthe, also threw water on Baldwin's claims.
Before adding: "In fact she was one of four actresses [he] had approved and her being the only one of those four repped by his own agency CAA".
