While all that happened, the WWE universe also saw one of best wrestlers in The Undertaker call time on his wrestling career that spanned over nearly 30 years.
Having landed both a chokeslam and a tombstone on Reigns, Undertaker looked on course for another gruelling victory, only for Reigns to kick out.
Reigns needed five spears including one through the Spanish announce table, another with extra momentum from the ring ropes and even more Superman punches to finally defeat The Undertaker.

Styles has had a superb first 15 months in the WWE, but dragging a compelling match out of Shane McMahon that did not rely simply on a load of stunts, was a fine feat. On the other hand Roman Reign is just another average wrestler who is being shove down every one's throat, many called him the newer version of Cena.
"The Big Dog" used all the weapons in his arsenal including a real weapon (steel chair) to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33.
Elsewhere, Brock Lesnar has become a champion after he beat Goldberg.
-Seth Rollins got a measure of revenge against Triple H, in what might have been the match of the night.
Kevin Owens captured the United States crown with a win over Chris Jericho. Only Triple H (14 times), John Cena (16 times) and Ric Flair (16 times) have been world champion more often.
This match was moved from the kickoff show to the main card, but ended up in a tough placement in between Brock Lesnar-Goldberg and Undertaker-Reigns.
