Neville slams Ozil, Koscielny & Walcott

Gary Neville has hit out at Arsenal's Mesut Ozil, claiming that he can not accept the playmaker's moodiness and lack of effort.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville laid into Arsenal trio Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny and Theo Walcott following the Gunners' 2-2 draw with Manchester City.

Steve Nicol and Alejandro Moreno don't mince their words when discussing Arsenal's performance against Manchester City.

His return still betters many of his Arsenal teammates, but it is far below the sky-high standards he set last season, and far below what the world-class talent is evidently capable of.

Former Arsenal captain Thierry Henry has claimed that Mesut Ozil "does not do enough on a daily basis".

"I might be being a bit harsh here, but I'm going to say them anyway", said Neville on Super Sunday. I don't know. When he plays, he doesn't always play like he can.

"Ozil is a man-child if you like, who has the childlike smile, plays a childlike way but ultimately in the latter stages of big tournaments or playing against men he goes missing".

"Walcott trudges off the pitch".

Theo Walcott should sprint off the pitch and shake the manager's hand and say, "Thanks very much for giving me a game today".

"But when you watch Messi and Ronaldo who give their all in every single match I won't sit here and accept that someone plays football looking like he's down a coal mine".

"Arsene Wenger deserves Ozil to go in for that 50-50".

"There's three instances today and I'm being harsh, but if you're talking about throwing the cat among the pigeons, let's do it. Let's throw it out there". Go on mate, have a go for us.
