UFC 210 Fight Card

It's been almost two years since Cormier and Johnson's first meeting, and the challenger insists that he's not the same fighter he was in 2015.

Meanwhile, the return of light heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones looms over the bout scheduled for Buffalo, New York's KeyBank Center on April 8, 2017.

Reigning light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is the betting favorite heading into his second title defense against Anthony Johnson at UFC 210, but "DC" is anything but a sure pick.

"DC will always talk".

"I've just got to go out there and be myself and do what I do", Johnson said. I kind of figured it out.

Hear Johnson commentate their 205-pound war above. "If I hit him one time, and he drops, then I'll go after him again". He's a wrestler. That's where his heart is and that's just the truth. Yet, rest assured it's the rematch being showcased as the "main event" that has both fight fans and bettors alike most excited.

"DC can say whatever he wants to say. That sh*t don't bother me".

"(The) majority of the community believes I'm just a first-round fighter because most of my fights end in the first round", Johnson said on a UFC 210 conference call. "They're entitled to their own opinion, and that's fine with me. He enters the rematch with Cormier with the mindset of just being "Rumble". I know I was a different opponent than his previous guy, but he still had a full training camp.

Johnson has gone from strength to strength since losing to Cormier, registering vicious stoppage victories over Jimi Manuwa, Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira.
