Please bring back Szechuan sauce for Rick And Morty fans — McDonald's

Rick and Morty Season 3 made a surprise premiere on April Fools' day and fans can't stop talking about it. The best time for the nugget dipping sauce to return to would be sometime next year, when Disney's live-action adaptation of Mulan comes to theaters on November 2, 2018. The petition simply reads "Bring back McDonald's chicken Mulan Szechuan sauce". That's my one-armed-man. I'm not driven by avenging my dead family, Morty. That was fake! I'm driven by finding that McNugget sauce. That's my series arc, Morty.

To tie in with the release of the 1998 Disney movie Mulan, McDonalds offered szechaun sauce to accompany its famous McNuggets. Maybe fans won't have to wait nine seasons to get what they want. Various * a href="*&spd=12974801822218731819" target="_blank" *online retailers have already started selling shirts with "Bring Back Szechuan McNugget Sauce" emblazoned on them.

And when the official Rick and Morty Twitter account asked the verified McDonald's US account if they "wanna get in on this", the eatery replied: "McNugga Lubba Dub Dub". A petition on calling for the return of the sauce had more than 19,500 signatures as of Tuesday morning.

The Rick and Morty Twitter account tweeted out an old commercial for the Szchezuan sauce and even tagged McDonald's to ask if it wanted to get in on the idea.

It seems like the fans' hard work might be paying off. Mike Haracz, the manager of culinary innovation at McDonald's, responded to the enthusiastic push to bring back the long-lost sauce.

There is real potential for a comeback - Disney's upcoming live-action remake of Mulan, which hits theaters in November, provides the flawless opportunity for McDonald's to reintroduce the sauce.
