Black Caps allrounder Colin de Grandhomme has earned his first Indian Premier League contract after being picked up late by the Kolkata Knight Riders. The 30-year old was added to the KKR squad ahead of the team's opening fixture, scheduled for April 7. He was suspended for having violated a whereabouts clause under the anti-doping rules by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) earlier in January this year. Born in Zimbabwe, he played his first Test against Pakistan, and got a six-wicket haul in his first innings.
