United are unbeaten in 19 Premier League games this season, but the Baggies are the eighth team to leave Old Trafford with a share of the points in this campaign following a goalless draw, and Mourinho is far from happy.
United host Everton on Tuesday before a trip to Sunderland next weekend and Mourinho admits that the hectic fixture schedule is taking its toll on the players.
According to Yahoo! Sport, AS Monaco ace Benjamin Mendy is one of those on Mourinho's transfer wishlist, having kicked on this season after seeing a proposed move to United break down last summer when leaving Marseille.
"A flash of talent, a glimpse of talent, one action, nearly a goal, but we need to kill opponents".
"In some other clubs, in some teams where you play for the top 10, a player with talent is always welcome even if that talent is not consistent, even if that talent is one day yes, one day no".
"This is deja vu all season". Going away to their training ground was always a massive day for me because I like their style of play.
The 28-year-old's injury will prove a sizeable setback to boss Jose Mourinho, with United still chasing the Europa League title and battling for a top-four Premier League berth.
"You can deal with it but too many draws at home". "It doesn't matter if it's the first minute or last minute, the reality is Foster made some good saves and we missed some incredible chances".
He started in the side's 1-1 home draw against Bournemouth at the start of March and was withdrawn just 20 minutes into the game in what was his first Premier League appearance since October.
Mourinho also got irritated when a reporter asked if him United and West Brom had cancelled each other out and it was a meeting of two evenly balanced sides.
"If they are not, the situation gets more hard. He will go out and get the players he wants".
Shaw will be hoping to make his way back into the plans at Old Trafford as Mourinho opted to play Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young as his full-backs, with the Englishman not even among the substitutes.
"First of all they know I am not asking for impossible targets, I ask for hard targets". "We're really pleased with the effort and commitment they put in today".
"One point is good for their objectives".
